Every now and again we find some Tumblr fan art that’s too cool not to share. We’ve been cataloging them on weheart.tumblr.com and, in honor of the new Submission feature, are taking your submissions!
We’re in Chicago next week for the AWP writers conference and will be throwing a happy hour for Tumblr writers of all stripes. We’d love to see you there.
The venue, Uncharted Books, is a new bookstore funded on Kickstarter which had a Tumblr blog before it was born. It’s a dream spot for book-web-community nerds and we absolutely can’t wait to see it (and all of you.)

Name FAUX FIX
Location ConnecticutA collage of art-pop and hauntingly intimate vocals, Faux Fix is the studio brainchild of hypnotic chanteuse Katie Chastain and indie film composer Nathan Johnson (Brick, The Brothers Bloom). Simultaneously ethereal and beat-driven, the songs liberally mix instruments and influences to form a backdrop of electro-theatrical arrangements. Final touches are being put on a full-length album now.

Name Cole Stryker
Location New York
First Post January 2008Writer Cole Stryker is scholar of internet culture. Like some kind of geeked-out Indiana Jones, he slips into the underbelly of internet communities you may have never heard of, collects evidence of their strange and sometimes bizarre customs, and then emerges back in the sunlight to present his findings and their possible implications. His new book, Epic Win For Anonymous, is the latest collection of such anthropological findings. For fun, Cole enjoys eating boxes and boxes of pizza.
